AI: Real Revolution or Just Marketing Hype?

AI is everywhere. Or at least, the term is. But how often is it truly Artificial Intelligence, and how often is it just clever marketing?
A few months ago, we attended a B2B marketing event in Miami with over 100 startups and service companies. The stands were clearly divided by industry: HR, law firms, IT services, business coaching… you name it. The surprising part? Almost every single one claimed to offer AI as a core service. 👀
After speaking with many of them, we noticed a distinct pattern. In most cases, the 'AI' on offer wasn’t a disruptive, game-changing product but rather a small micro-service adapted to their niche. The “AI” label was often louder than the actual technology. Our AI solutions focus on real value, not hype.
Separating Hype from Reality
- AI is not magic. When applied correctly to solve a specific problem, it creates a powerful competitive advantage. When it's just a label, it creates noise.
- Most companies sell “AI” as a slogan, not as real value. It's a buzzword used to attract attention in a crowded market.
- Real impact comes from tailored solutions. The true value of AI is unlocked when it's custom-designed to optimize specific business processes, not when it's a generic add-on.
Are we witnessing a true wave of impactful AI solutions or just a marketing trend no one wants to miss out on?
The answer is likely both. While genuine innovation is happening, it's crucial for business leaders to look beyond the slogans and ask critical questions about the tangible value an 'AI' solution provides.
